Key Accountabilities  Anchors the technical activities and manages the affairs in the Low Current section  Plans the operation of the Low Current section, setup priorities and approves work orders.  Ensures proper implementation of QMS and MMS processes  Conducts general inspections to insure quality and sites readiness  Coordinate section affairs with project management and division technical support  Analyses general performance of the Low Current section, implements corrective actions, improvement and produces reports to his superiors.  Evaluates equipment and system status and recommends modification and upgrading  Supports subordinates in developing their competences.  Ensures client complaints are resolved properly.  Seeks expert’s advice as needed and Provides technical support to the section.  Manages and evaluates Low Current manpower  Initiates, approves, and follows up supply chain and logistics to ensure adequacy  Ensure client complaints are resolved properly.  Attends promptly to Low Current major faults  Leads commissioning of new Low Current equipment and follows up lifting of M0.  Supervise three to seven Low Current supervisors.

A Supervisor-Safety offers informed knowledge and skills in order to encourage and promote a positive health and safety culture. This represents a key role in helping control occupational risk whilst working to minimise operational losses, occupational health problems, accidents and injuries. The role of a Supervisor-safety requires the incumbent to exercise practical day to day leadership and direction for the safety team direct reports whilst maintaining vigilance and self-initiative in the discharge of their duties. The Supervisor-Safety understands that this is a high profile position where both company and external personnel will look towards them for leadership and best practice Key Accountabilities  Provide the day to day functional management and supervision of safety team direct reports whilst overseeing departmental tasking and outputs.  Responsible for evaluation and provision of continuous professional development (CPD) for safety team direct reports, ensuring appropriate documentation of all CPD activities including liaison with HR and training management.  Assist the Manager-Health and Safety in the safety team appraisal process, identifying training and development needs for the safety team.  Supervise, train and assist in the development of the HSE Team in all aspects under the direction of the Manager-Health and Safety.  Interface with the client as required on a day to day basis, including attending meetings as directed.  Responsible for ensuring that all safety legislation is adhered to and policies and practices are adopted.  Responsible for planning, coordination, and implementation of a comprehensive occupational health, safety program.  Responsible for advising, monitoring and motivating the workforce regarding the implementation of HSE requirements at site including the reporting of non-compliance and unsafe practice.  Ensures that SOL employees, contractors and subcontractors understand and follow the Client’s HSE Policy and Procedure.  Responsible for ensuring that planned observation, inspection, and correction of any unsafe acts or omissions are undertaken and appropriately managed and recorded.  Developing and advancing the understanding of risk management principles, risk assessment methodologies and safety management systems.  Developing and advancing the understanding of both general and specific hazardous activities.  Supervising the effective management and implementation of the permit to work system is applied to relevant jobs and carried out as required by the company standard.  Co-ordinate investigation of accidents, incidents and safety violations as required and submits reports on work practices with recommendations for improvement.  Co-ordinate Investigations of breaches of safety regulations, policy and procedures and produce appropriate reports as required by the company and client procedures.  Develop a sound working knowledge of crisis management and emergency response procedures and protocols co-ordinating and leading Health and Safety Team in managed responses to such.  Supervising that tool box talks are conducted appropriately whilst ensuring that attendance records are maintained and communicated to the HR central recording protocol.  Actively contribute to safety training programme, to include review of in-house safety training courses and delivery of training as required.  Maintain high levels of on-site safety awareness through the attendance and delivery of effective training programs.  Maintain effective working relations between the company, its clients and its sub-contractors.
